The Investigatory Powers Act 2016 (Commencement No. 11) Regulations 2019 SI 2019/174 have been made under section 272(1) of the Investigatory Powers Act 2016. The regulations bring certain provisions of the Investigatory Powers Act 2016 and came into force on 5th February 2019 in the UK. The regulations have been published along with an explanatory memorandum.
