The SCL Tech Law Barometer is an exciting new initiative designed to measure the tech law sector. We want to define and understand the booming and ever-expanding sector in which we all work – take an annual snapshot of SCL activity and the thoughts of our members.
The aim is to provide a published resource for members, national and legal media and others in the legal industry that will become something that can be built upon year by year.
Tech law is a vital and growing sector, tech pervades all areas of everyday life and it’s important to understand this evolution and our role within it. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for review and reflection and a stimulus for conversation. We believe that SCL and you, the members of the tech law community, are uniquely placed to do this.
We will be contacting the SCL membership with a link to the Barometer. We can’t make this initiative fly without you so we’re asking you to please take a few moments and complete the survey so that we can begin the data gathering process. We are asking for your thoughts on where your work is coming from, how technology is used in your own daily routines and for your opinions on some of the current big issues.
It’s your sector and we want to hear about your daily experiences, your predictions, your successes and what keeps you up at night.
As an added incentive and a thank you, we will be entering all those who complete the survey into a draw to win a place at the SCL Annual Conference taking place in London on Wednesday 2 October 2019.
So, please check your Inbox for the survey details and keep an eye out for the results later in 2019…
