Three new statutory instruments relating to wireless telegraphy have been made:
- Wireless Telegraphy (Spectrum Trading) (Amendment) Regulations 2019/950
- Wireless Telegraphy (Mobile Spectrum Trading) (Amendment) Regulations 2019/951
- Wireless Telegraphy (Register) (Amendment) Regulations 2019 SI 2019/952
Wireless Telegraphy (Spectrum Trading) (Amendment) Regulations
These regulations amend the Wireless Telegraphy (Spectrum Trading) Regulations 2012 to remove the reference to the frequency bands 742–750 MHz, 758–766 MHz and 3605–3689 MHz in Schedule 2 of the 2012 Regulations.
Wireless Telegraphy (Mobile Spectrum Trading) (Amendment) Regulations
The regulations make changes to the Wireless Telegraphy (Mobile Spectrum Trading) Regulations 2011 to include certain frequency bands in the Schedule to the 2011 Regulations and to add a reference in regulations 6(b) and 6(c) to the Wireless Telegraphy (Licence Charges for the 900 MHz Frequency Band and the 1800 MHz Frequency Band) Regulations 2018 in the UK.
Wireless Telegraphy (Register) (Amendment) Regulations
These regulations amend the Wireless Telegraphy (Register) Regulations 2012 to add licences in respect of wireless telegraphy stations operating within certain frequency bands in the UK.
The three sets of regulations come into force on 10 June 2019.
