Computer Software Group acquires Laserform

July 5, 2006

Computer Software Group is reported to have paid £4.8 million in cash and shares. Laserform’s Chairman Barry Hawley-Green is to retire on completion of the deal. Computer Software Group acquired AIM only two months ago and there are obvious opportunities for the two organisations to combine forces.

Laserform is a leading provider of forms software to the legal sector and boasts a client base of over 2,200 firms. Laserform’s subsidiary company, LFM Partnership Solutions Ltd supplies case and practice management software to a broad range of legal practices.

Vin Murria, CEO of Computer Software Group plc commented: “Laserform is a key component of our strategy to establish a strong position in the legal software sector. Its forms products and services will provide cross selling opportunities across the whole legal sector and its practice management software will fit well with our existing AIM business.”
