IT businesses, fellow lawyers and members of the public are now able to find lawyers, experts and consultants with relevant expertise in IT and the law by consulting a new database. The SCL Directory (http://www.scldirectory.org/) is a searchable database of SCL members and includes profiles and details of crucial criteria of use to those choosing an IT lawyer or any other member with relevant expertise such as geographical location. SCL members who have opted to be displayed in the Directory should see it become an important source of work over the coming months.
There are already hundreds of SCL members on the database and most of those have tailored their profiles to suit the new exposure. SCL members can opt into the database at any time and can add details of recent successes or additional qualifications (such as SCL Certification or Accreditation) whenever they choose.
