The ICO is asking for the views of stakeholders on the ICO Plan 2012-2015.
The ICO Plan details the strategic outcomes the ICO is seeking and how the ICO intends to achieve these outcomes over the next three years. The Plan combines the business and corporate plans developed for previous years into what the ICO describes as one, more focused, document. The idea is to review the Plan annually.
The consultation will run for four weeks from 22 February 2012 to 20 March 2012. The ICO say that it is not possible to have a longer consultation as the Plan has to be finalised by 1 April 2012.

The ICO declares a particular interest in views on the practical steps the ICO intends to take in order to achieve its strategic outcomes. (as outlined in the ICO’s Information Rights Strategy ) and the new format of the Plan.
