For many SCL members one of the highlights of the year is the Annual IT Contracts Update provided by Richard Stephens.
SCL Annual IT Contracts Update is my first thought each year for CPD and keeping up to date with contract law changes.
I am close to clocking up 500 hours on external courses, quite apart from the many hours spent in post graduate lectures, many of which have been in and around contract law issues. From that experience, I can say without reservation that Richard’s annual update is simply the best.
Richard is an excellent contract lawyer, a real enthusiast and has the admirable ability to keep track of everything moving in the world of contract law. The notes which come with the update are legendary, serve as a great source of reference and provide insight into how changes in the law might be of use once you are back in the office.
Whether you are a contentious or non-contentious lawyer, whether an out & out IT specialist or contract lawyer with an interest in technology, the SCL Annual IT Contracts update should be firmly pencilled in to your things to do in 2015; ideally at the SCL Northern Group event in Leeds on 3rd February 2015, or if you can’t make it then in London on 9th February 2015.
