Description
2024 was all about the “R” in ROI for AI, so how about 2025? Particularly if you are a technology lawyer.
Following up on the highly successful SCL AI Annual Conference, we will answer exactly that. Not only in relation to AI, but also other key technologies and skills crucial to building foundations to future proof and optimise your potential.
Gartner’s hype cycle tells us that any innovation spurt is followed by a pause to focus on foundations needed to safely scale. Before accelerating again. Lawyers have a pivotal role to play in that foundation build. Integral to this being focusing on the right skills, knowledge and trends in 2025. This being the focus of this event, SCL’s flagship event for Q1 2025. Anchored on three themes coming through loud and strong at the SCL AI Conference with a curated stellar line up of speakers – speakers and themes set out below – do join us!
- Emerging technologies like AI are here to stay – what does that mean for lawyers/the profession? The opening session will answer just that. In 2025, this will not be just a “nice to know”. Emerging technologies unlock opportunities but also pose challenges – now is the time to anticipate both.
- What is must-have legal and technical know-how on emerging technologies? A line-up of expert speakers on AI, Blockchain and Quantum will focus on this. In depth but with a real-world lens to make the key points intuitive and practical.
- How do technology lawyers put the above into practice, to get the roles they aspire to and get on in their careers? Excellent lawyers can struggle with this. As can aspiring lawyers. Firms need this talent – so how do you square the circle? Find out in our flagship panel. With exceptional leaders in law and other industries sharing rare to come by real world actionable insights.
In conclusion, a packed day, but that isn’t all, we will also have:
- Spotlight sessions (i) bringing to life how AI is used in legal practice by a General Counsel who knows and (ii) rarely shared insights on the fast paced legal technology market from the perspective of a leading legal recruiter.
- Break-out sessions – led by those speaking on some of the sessions above, providing a rare opportunity to connect with thought leaders as well as peers.
- Networking Opportunities – Connect with fellow professionals and industry experts throughout the event and during post-event networking, starting at 5:30 pm.
We look forward to seeing you there!
