Apply to become an SCL Accredited IT Lawyer.
SCL IT lawyer members can apply to become SCL accredited IT lawyers. Accreditation is aimed at IT law practitioners who are seeking to establish themselves within the IT law sector.
The purpose of the scheme is to enable our members to demonstrate their expertise and experience in our specialist area of law, promoting confidence among clients and the wider IT industry.
SCL Accredited IT Lawyers
- accreditation lasts for five years
- the individual right to use the title and logo “SCL Accredited IT Lawyer” while the accreditation is current
- to qualify you must be a current member of SCL, have held a practising certificate for at least 5 years and be able to demonstrate levels of practice, training and writing on IT Law as specified in the rules

Application fee: The cost of applying to become an accredited member of SCL is £50 + VAT . An invoice will be sent to you on receipt of your application.
