Join us for an in-depth exploration of the Information Commissioner’s Office’s (ICO) approach to AI and data protection. With AI rapidly advancing, it is critical that organisations consider how data protection principles apply to the use of personal data in AI systems.
This webinar will feature insights from a senior lawyer at the ICO, offering a detailed examination of how the ICO is addressing the complex challenges posed by AI technologies. We will discuss the types of risks that should be included in a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) when organisations are considering adopting an AI solution. We will also discuss some of the lessons learned from the ICO’s investigation into Snap’s “My AI” chatbot.
In addition, the session will cover the ICO’s ongoing GenAI calls for evidence, providing participants with an understanding of how the ICO is approaching AI regulation. Whether you are a legal professional, compliance officer, or tech enthusiast, this webinar will equip you with the knowledge needed to navigate AI’s intersection with data protection law.
