SCL has launched a new website, the GDPR Jargon Buster, ahead of the regulation coming into force next week. The site has been put together by the SCL team with help from SCL Trustee Neil Brown and aims to translate some of the essential concepts into plain English for those unfamiliar with, or bamboozled by, the coming changes and signpost readers to more detailed resources.
It is in no way exhaustive and is intended to be a ‘living’ document so please get in touch with your additions and suggestions: hello@scl.org
It is not intended to be legal advice and should not be considered definitive but we do think it will be a useful resource for individuals and smaller organisations affected by the new regulation.
And please share the url with anyone you feel may find it useful: www.gdprjargonbuster.scl.org
