This event will examine the role, impact and challenges of Internet service providers in moderating content uploaded by service users.
It will examine what platforms do, why they do it, and how the laws and expectations around moderation may (or should) change.
It will also look at the role of Internet access providers in restricting access to content online, and the various actual and proposed legal and self-regulatory frameworks.
This event will be of interest to lawyers advising companies which host third party content, as well as organisations whose content is uploaded to those services, and anyone interested in one of the frontiers of Internet / web governance.
